Will you adopt an orphan if you already had one and wanted another? That's my plan for future.

If I already had a child I adopted and wanted another one, of course I would adopt another. There are plenty of children who need loving homes, and I have love to give...why not share it with one who needs it.

Yes, i do intend to adopt an orphan girl child some day. But in my case, I don't intend to have any children biologically. Not because of fear of dividing my love, but simply because I feel there are too many children who deserve parental love out there. And if there is place for two kids in my life, then it can just as well be two adopted kids. But...to get things going, I will start by adopting one girl child some day for sure.

I have already adopted and a word of advice. It took a long, long time...to the point that we had given up hope of ever getting a child. If you plan to adopt, look at foreign adoptions. The adoption waiting list in most parts of the U.S. is 10 years...yes, 10 years! Babies and children under 6 are almost impossible to obtain. The belief that many kids are looking for homes is a myth in the U.S. but it is true in other parts of the world.

that's very nice of you --- giving a home to someone in need. that's a very noble thing to do, and i'm rating you for that. i wouldn't mind adopting an orphan even if i already have a child of my own.

I have always wanted to either foster or adopt a child. We were told we couldnt have children and then I fell pregnant which was a complete shock but that has never stopped me from wanting to adopt/foster. I am hoping to start with fostering next year!

I will adopt an orphan when i get married. There are so many orphaned kids out there who needs a family. I think every couple who cannot have kids should adopt an orphan and give them all the love they have. We are depriving these kids of love that they need.
