So, we've been having too much help from the cats lately. One in particular seems to have developed a knack for electronics. His name is Oliver. He was found at 1 week old and bottle fed. He's almost 2 and a half now. The roomie is on vacation all this next week, so she turned off her alarm clock because she doesn't need to get up at 7:45 am for 9 whole days - yesterday he managed to set it off at 7:45 am!!! Last night, he somehow managed to unplug the cable box - took her 4 tries to get it rebooted - AFTER she had to fish the cord out from behind the cabinet - then got back up there and jiggled the cable as the picture was all fuzzy. This morning, he sends the same e-mail TWICE before she was ready. I have suggested that she leave the "send to:" part blank until she's done with her letters from now on. Like I said, he's "talented"

This sounds like my cats. We have one that unplugged the cable box the other day. They love to unhook my keyboard from my computer. They also love to chat with my friends in IM. They send some very interesting messages to them believe me. I also had one cat who loved to play with my mouse and then drop it to the floor. He killed three of them. We have one that likes to turn the tv channels or change the volume on it. They are very talented that is for sure. I always wonder what they will do next.

Mine can't seem to spell either but they do send some interesting comments :) Thankfully most of the people I talk with are cat lovers so seem to understand.

Oh, we've had many a cat that like to send IM's, but they can't spell. We had one that liked to send kisses... "x" The roomie also has had them mess with the tv remote, happily they have pretty much not managed to kill anything critical on her computer. Tony unpluged my speakers at the end of Feb, but he can't get in anymore.

Oh, that is really cute. Maybe you can teach him to make the coffee or wash the windows? He is probably just rubbing his cheek against things that one of you touches and leaving his scent. It is how they sort of clain things as "theirs." They do it to people that they love too. If you can teach him to program the DVR remote I might consider renting him. lol

I think the way things are going, he's more likely to BREAK the DVR remote!

Lol, in that case I'll pass on the cat rental. I can break things all by myself. In fact I'm pretty good at it.
