Its Peanut Butter Jelly Time!!!

Ever since I saw the episode of Family Guy where Brian dresses up in a banana suit, and sings this song, I have fallen in love with it!!! Not that its a good song, its just silly.
I used to think that this was just something that the writers at Family Guy came up with, then I saw it on the Proud Family too. That got me to thinking, where did this song come from.
I didn't answer that question until a couple of weeks ago, when I went on YouTube and discovered that someone on the internet made a video about it, and that's how it started.
I also discovered that since its creation, many people have taken it and made their own videoes. They are all very fun to watch. Here is my favorite one:

Yea thats something. But yea i remember hearing it like 2 years ago at my high school pep rally. But it is something how fas things travel. Especially rumors, or anything comical, like jokes, and even opinions about something. But yea thats amazing.

Yeah, after looking on YouTube, the first video was created about two years ago. It was just done as a small joke, but it took off.
This is kinda like the movie Cast Away. It was a low budget movie, never thought it would make it mainstream, but that movie took off very well!!! I know they made a boatload of profit from that movie too. For most of the movie its one actor, very little script, and no special effects. But it did very well at the box office.
I wonder if the people who made this original video wish they would have charged for it, they would be rich right now.

My little sis wrote that if I didn't do what she wanted me to do, she was gonna give me one of those... I laughed for 3 days! Every time it popped into my mind, I lost all control... it is the funniest thing on the internet!

LOL omg my kids drive me nuts with that damn song!! It was funny the first million times over a two week span..then it just got annoying LOL
i've not seen any of the videos but I'll have to check them out later on...

Yeah, you can only watch the video once or twice and then it gets on your nerves. When I discovered all these videos, I was on the computer with my younger sister. It was fun for about the first hour, but she kept listening to different ones throughout the day. Finally my grandmother came home, and it only got to play twice more before my grandmother made her turn it off. I was happy!

This is the first one I have ever seen,thanks for sharing.
I enjoyed it,I will looked for others now.I think some
people can be creative with these videos.They do amazing
things with them.The scenes is funny and make you laugh,
laughing is good for you.

There are many on YouTube. All you have to do is type "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" into the searchbar, and you will get about thirty videos to watch. Even one where this guy sang this song on one year's American Idol auditions. (What was he thinking?!?)
