Ladies,
What do you wear as undergarments under your dresses and skirts?
do you wear another skirt? a slip? just regular underclothes?
do you use a full slip or half slip?
does it depend on the material that the skirt is made of whether it is sheer or heavy?
or do you wear the same undergarment no matter what?

I usually do not wear dresses, but skirts. I like to wear a full slip so that way my midriff won't accidentally show when I move around a lot. Though in the summer months a full slip can be hot unless you have an airy cotton one.

I some how stopped wearing pants and prefer skirts and dresses as it makes me feel more feminine and comfortable.
Yes it depends on material of the skirt. If skirt is too thin or transparent then I always prefer to wear a slip inside, but when skirt is thick enough then I avoid slips as it becomes to warm. I rarely wear full skirts, usually I wear midis and my slip is never longer than my skirt....so no body can say Sunday is longer than Monday.......

Modestah, i do like wearing dresses, the only time I wear a slip however is to church and then it depends on the dress. Thin dresses I will wear a full slip. I hate half slips. As long as the dress is not to thin and see thru I think it is fine to go with out one. My summer dresses are made to be worn airy and comfortable.

Father was walking down the aisle and just as he came to my pew (I can not remember I think it was Benediction) my slip fell to a neat pink pile at my feet!!! my face was beyond pink, I am sure!

When I was in corporate america, I tried to buy suits (skirts and blazers) that the skirt was lined. I hated wearing slips, but would if I needed to. I honestly can say that I have never worn a full slip.
I know I always made sure I was wearing pantyhose. To this day, I can't see a woman all dressed up and then nothing on her legs. Maybe because my legs are so pale, if I could get a tan, maybe I would think differently. I think it justs ruin the look.

I agree with you about the socks. Now that I don't wear skirts too frequently, I prefer socks to hose. I have begun collecting silly socks/holiday socks to spice up my feet a little. LOL
The kids get a kick out of seeing which socks I am wearing.

I usually wear boyleg undies if i wear mini skirts. But when its mid length i just wear lacy panties. I dont like wearing slips not comfy with it.

I either wear just panties or I wear pantyhose with panties. Slips, NO! I used to wear them when I was growing up, but don't wear them anymore. In fact, they are becoming harder and harder to find. Did you know that J.C. Penneys, where I used to work stopped selling them all together? Interesting, huh?

that is interesting regarding J.C. Penneys. guess they were not a money maker anymore. I buy mine through catalog/mail order. they are so blasted expensive though, considering the material they are made of and how simple the design. maybe I should make my own out of old sheets... :)

Depending on WHY I'm wearing a skirt, since I don't like wearing them often, I'm usually found wearing booty shorts or leggings under them. For the most part it's leggings though, 'cause I get incomfortable in skirts.

I jsut wear my normal underwear ie knickers & maybe tights if i want to wear tights. I've never worn an underskirt/petticoat/slip or whatever you want to call them, they are not really in fashion over in the uk, i think even my mum stopped wearing them in the 90's!

Yes I wear undergarments under my skirts and depending on if the material is thin will depend on if I wear a slip or not, and it is pretty much always a half slip, probably cuz I dont own a full one. I like both skirts and dresses but I usually wear skirts.

When I wear skirts, I just make sure that the panty line is not obvious, better if you cant see any lines at all and as long as youre comfortable and you feel sexy underneath..=)

I don't really wear skirts of dresses and if i do i just wear my underwear.
