Do you ever wonder about your internet connection speed?

I'm a big fan of the site Howstuff works and just did a test on my internet connection speed and it included a comparison in my state and in the US as a whole. Of course I don't understand a lot of what it means but I came out as having about an average connection speed for my state and way above for the US. If you're at all interested in finding out where you stand check it out:

How did your standings come out? Are you happy with your internet connection speed or do you think you need to make a change?

The results were quite good for me....although I find that the results do not usually reflect correctly everytime...I tried the tests few times and all the results were different...
I would not want to change or upgrade my current connection as it would mean higher cost and I mostly use it to surf the web than to download things..

I also did the test more than once it the results were the same each time. I wondered if anyone else would have different results. Thanks for trying it and letting me know.

I am blown away my speed is 8623, State average 5228, US average 5147 so I am very pleased that my Comcast connection is so high. Thanks for sharing the link , very interesting

Wow, that's neat!
I came out just slightly ahead of my state (Ohio), and slightly lower than the U.S. average.
It sure beats dialup!
