Your husband or someone asks, what you doing? Your like reading then you go back to your book then, What are you reading? Are you enjoying it? then question after question, just to bug you on purpose. This is what my fiance does to piss me off when im reading a book, he seems to know when im in a good part too. Does anyone do this to you? Does it really piss you off?

My ex used to be like that. And yes, I would get so furious about it, to the point I would throw the book down. Of course by then he had nothing else to say. *LOL* So I learned a simple trick.. while reading I would simply tune him out completely. It worked wonders.

Yep, my husband does that sometimes. I either ignore him or give really short answers, and he usually stops. I don't think he does it on purpose, but it gets annoying anyway! :) And I don't even attempt to read a book with my daughter around!

I've had that happen to me too. I think it is extremely disrespectful when someone interrupts someone else who is trying to read.
My kids interrupt me all the time when I'm reading. I've learned to take the book into the bathroom and do my reading there. At least that way I can lock the door and be left in peace. lol. The other time I'll do reading is at night in bed, after all of the kids are already tucked in for the night.
And yes, when I get interrupted by anyone when I'm really into reading something, I get VERY irritated.
I'm very irritated right now actually. I can't even post in peace tonight, as the boys keep on nagging at me about silly little things. It's an early bedtime for them for sure! (it's the safest course of action for everyone involved lol).

Doesn't happen much. I don't find alot of time to read anymore. I do more reading on mylot than I have for a book in months. My daughter is the one to ask the questions. As I am trying to inspire her to read as well, I try to keep my cool.

Hi there... Yes I can relate to a bit of this, reading an awsome book and getting wrapped up in it, and then you remember, ohhh I have to run an errand or someone shows up, or the phone rings... My husband would'nt annoy me when Im reading a book, I think he enjoys that quiet time anyway... Have a good one... But being interupted can be annoying, especially when your right into the book and just cant seem to put it down...
