Before my car accident 2 years ago I was doing jumping jacks on a daily basis. I was very very active in sports and lots and lots of training. I was doing 1000 a day plus other exercises as my training was part of several athletics that I took part in. With having this lower back injury I maybe could do 10 before the pain starts setting in. Once my back is a little better. And I have started to rebuild all the muscle that I have lost over the last two years I will be going back to jumping jacks and my regular workout if my back will permit it.

I didn't want to lose weight either. I wanted to maintain my muscle. I did eat alot but its what you choose to eat to keep you on that sort of schedule is the key. Good luck to you and hope you acheive your goals.

I really need to shape up. I keep telling myself I will start exercising to be healhtier and tighten my abs so I feel better about the shape of my tummy, but alas, I still have not begun. I am so unmotivated!
Anyway, I can probably only do about 60-80 jumping jacks before I am too tired to go on. How Sad!!

I agree. I think another factor is that I don't have as much time as I used to. I have had workout buddies before and they're great, but that was when I was working like 30 hrs a week. I am working almost double that amount now and trying to save money for a house. It's pretty exhausting working about 55-60 hours each week and still having some social life!
If only I would win the lotto, I'd be SURE to exercise! LOL

that sounds pretty good to me magnet. I do not think I have counted jumping jacks since I left grammar school... when I get this cast off of my leg I shall have to test myself... it may be a while though before my foot can withstand that pressure.
