Where the Sun Don't Shine

kind of strange to have a SUNrise service (for Easter) where the sun doesn't shine, isn't it?
In a cave in missouri this has been happening since 1967!!! The cave is Meramec Caverns - they book popular gospel groups to draw in the crowds.... the cave quickly became too crowded to accommodate the number of visitors for these holy day events so they had an easter vigil service added to the schedule.
Sadly this year there will be many disappointed people as the event has had to be canceled due to all the recent rain and subsequent flooding.
Would you like to attend such an event?
Since it is not the Church I go to I would not be attending - but, I would like to go sometime to hear music performed there as I would imagine the acoustics are astounding.

I have been to the Caverns.They are awesome to behold. I think I would enjoy the singing. SO yes I would go. I think my family would enjoy it as well. What a great idea.

Wow that sounds like it would be a wonderful experience sweety! I quite like visiting different churches and see how they worship - I have always been made very welcome too! How sad that they cannot have their planned easter service, there is always next year though! Thanks for sharing this information sweety! xxx
