More silly things we did as kids:)

When we were in Portugal we used to spend our summer in a city in Algarve - south of Portugal, place for the sun and beaches that never end -. Our apartment was in the 4th floor on a building with an elevator that hardly ever worked. And the stairs... ah the stairs.. the perfectly smooth handrail for sliding all the way down. That's what my cousin and I used to do everyday:) Each morning the baker would come by with his big basket to bring bread to his costumers - yes, it was really nice to have our still hot fresh bread without having to go out to the bakery to get it LOL This special morning me and my cousin were sneaking out to go to the beach see the fishermen pushing their nets. We weren't supposed to go that early, hence the sneaking out. As usually we were sliding down the handrail when we though we heard my mom. My cousin was sliding down in front of me and stopped. I bumped into her and we both fell down write on top ob the darn basket of bread. No... we didn't get hurt, we were very close to the end, but we can't say the same thing about all those loafs of bread LOL Good thing we were close to the end of his route or else there would have been much more bread in there. Of course we ended up not going to the beach. Mom and aunt had to pay for the bread and we had to work for it in the bakery all day:) We ate a lot of bread that week. Sandwiches, acorda - this bread based dish that we didn't like at all at that time, bread pudding.... I don't think we slid down any more during that summer LOL Any slightly dangerous silly things you can remember from your childhood? Do tell:)
