Will the record of Mark Spitz be broken?

It is 2008 and the Olympics is just around the corner. This year it is being hosted in China and so much controversies have since occurred and I just hope that it will not any boycott to affect the Games. Reason? I am actually hoping that the world record of 7 gold medals achieved by the one time great USA swimmer Mark Spitz in the uneventful '72 Munich Olympics would be broken. It has already been 36 years and as the records for the events are ever improving with each meet - it is this record which has stood till today. Will we be looking at another heroic achievement for this Games in Beijing, this year? What do you think? Do you think this feat will take place at this year's Olympics?
