I have been very fortunate to meet the author to "A Diamond In The Rough - The Youth Of America," Nash Hasan, online. I hosted a live chat with him as well.
This book is so powerful. It is a book of poems. The poems are about the way youth feel. It does not hold back any punches, so to speak. I encourage every parent and anyone else that works with youth to take the time to read this book. I think this book will be of great benefit to you in understanding today's society and how it affects our youth. I highly reccomend this book to youth and adults. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of the youth of today and tomorrow.

The youth of today have a much harder lifestyle than they did just 10 years ago and it is getting worse. Society tends to label them as trouble makers and from that moment on, they wear that label until they themselves begin to believe it.

That is great to hear. I have never heard of that book before but I am not much of a reader or either. I will have to check it out some time when I find more time to sit down and actually read something. I have a 16 year old daughter ans she has been through alot more rough time at her age than I had to go through also. I was always bullied in school too. This would be very inspirational.

wow that is so wonderful that you met the author online ,
I want so badly to meet an author who might be able to read my book and help with it's sales, it really is a good book, everyone thinks so, that reads it.
