i was watching pbs last nite in hopes that the 'antique roadshow' would be on, but alas, it is their fund raising time so they had this music compilation from the 1960's. i was just a little kid in the 60's but they were talking about the music defining a decade (such as the british invasion and the 'free love' music of the late 60's)
do you think that this is true? what music defines you or your generation? is it a certain style or type?

I was just a kid in the 60's and 70's but could see what the music of those generations did. I think it was those generations that taught us to question authority. I was a teen of the 80's and was into New Wave and Punk. I think the punk music was angry like we were. It was like the lost generation. No more wars to protest and the computer age just blossoming. I think the music showed the world how restless our generation was becoming.
