notebook hp or dell?

Both are good..but i would suggest HP because its less costly and service too is good

i have a hp laptop, so of course i am going to be bias and say hp. i have never actually rated dell however, i have seen a few students with it and they say it is a pretty good brand.others think dell is a joke. i bought this hp because i think it is more suitable for my work with a decent Gb to hold my CAD softwares etc. i think you should compare both brands, have a look at the different notebooks they make. you know the features you are looking for, in this way i think you can make more of an informed decision.

I prefer HP to Dell, but of course, in the end it all boils down to one question at the personal level, which one does your heart says, BUY???
