so there's this movie that the critics have been raving about, made it at the top of the box office, starred by the most popular moviestar in the world, yet when it was your turn to watch you just didn't like it. you think your taste has gone low, right? well, wrong.
we often think that good reviews always guarantee a good movie. yes, most of the time. but there are just some moments when we just don't agree and we feel bad about it. they are the experts after all.
don't despair though. remember, you are the paying public and it's you that matter most. a good movie should leave a good impression in you. something that would last for a long time. something that you wanna watch time and time again. next time you're plaaning to watch a movie, don't read the reviews. surprise yourself.

that's true. reviews somehow gives you a high expectation regarding the movie and when it does not met your expectations you sure be disappointed.
and also watching movies that inspired from books will give a dissatisfaction, due to some changes made my the directors... and without noticing it you already spoil the movie..
so better yet, watch the movie first before reading the books, i suggest. in that way we will have a broad imagination while reading the book and can fully understand every details... hehehe

true. like, the da vinci code. it's my favorite book. when the movie came out it didn't give me much excitement. the anticipation was not there anymore coz i already know what was gonna come up next. the book is more exciting. thanks for sharing my views.

In my view, a good movie is one that gets the viewer absorbed completely in it.And we can watch that movie any number of times and after any number of years.Yes, there are movies like that. Of course in few numbers.
