Tip for weeding out clothes you don't wear...

Hang all of your clothes and put the hangers backwards on the closet rod. Pick a date 3, 6, 9 months down the road...even a year- it is the date on which anything you have not worn will be donated. How will you know what you haven't worn? When you wear something and you return it to the closet, put the hanger in the correct way. On the date you have marked, any clothes with hangers still backwards obviously have not been worn so out they go!
Do you go through your closet and get rid of clothes on a regular basis?

thats a really good tip,i need to do that with my kids clothes. i don't have much for clothes anyway so i can't get rid of any or i won't have any.lol but i think i might do that with my husbands clothes. that man has so many and i know for a fact that he never wears half of them. his dad buys him shirts all the time and gives him clothes all the time. i ran out of hangers last time his dad gave him clothes so i weeded out enough so that i had enough hangers and that was about a month ago and he still has no idea i did it.lol

lol! I wonder if my husband would notice...he is worse than I am with his "fat clothes". rofl- he used to be a body builder and when he was training hard, he would need smaller clothes than when he was "off season". He still fluctuates- but recently gained a bit of weight so bought bigger clothes...but like me is determined to lose it so he won't get rid of his "skinny clothes" HAHAHA!
He probably would notice, because he buys all his own clothes. But maybe I will hang the hangers backwards without telling him- I wonder if he would notice that enough to go through and change them all around? ;)

not my hubby if i would get his clothes out for him to wear he would let me. i really am going to do this with his clothes.
just about 2 weeks ago i finally gave up on my skinny clothes and bagged them up to put in the yard sale this summer. i know whats gonna happen though,i am gonna get rid of all my skinny clothes and then i am going to lose wieght and not have any clothes that fit.lol thats just my luck
