What am I doing wrong here?

Alright, it's time to just come right out and ask you guys: What the heck am I doing wrong with my discussions? I used to get pretty good responses. These days, I'm lucky to get 1 or 2, let alone the good quality ones. Is it me, or is this happening to everyone and I just haven't noticed? Please let me know. Thanks for reading!!!

I think you'll find for the past couple of weeks, there has been a glitch in the system, whereby a) people are not receiving notifications of their friends starting new discussions and b) they've not been able to respond to discussions at all. I had the notification problem, and contacted Mylot. They put me right within thirty six hours so I'm back to normal now. Perhaps notification e-mails are your problem too? Brightest Blessings.

Well then, maybe that's the problem. I was beginning to think that it was me. I thought that I was losing "my touch" or something. Thanks for letting me know that there was such a problem.

Yes, I think it probably is. Several members are saying again tonight that they have no e-mail notifications and one of my discussions is sitting at 0 responses again.

The 'MyLot Gremlin' has been busy as of late and I have heard this complaint amonng many people. I found out that having more friends and answering their discussions makes someone want to respond more to mine.

I have a lot of myLot friends, but maybe just not enough real ones I guess. The first thing I do on myLot, besides respond to people that posted to my posts, is go to the 'discussions that your friends started' and that's usually the only place I go. Maybe I've just been adding these people and they haven't been adding me. I was beginning to think it was because of the depressing subject matter. But if I can't turn to my myLot friends, what's the point of being here?

The same things have been happening to me as well. I dont think its just you either. I've heard a bunch of people saying the same thing. It could very well be a glitch in the system. I hope that things speed up for us all soon! I love that interaction and getting feedback!

Yes, that's it. I miss the interaction and feedback, otherwise it's just like writing an article or something for school or something. Here it's different. Actually I just got a "congratulations" e-mail from myLot because I got a "best comment" notation. I've got those before and was never sent an e-mail. I thought that was cool. I think I like that feature.

you arent doing anyting wrong i dont tink..i never seem to get a vast amount of responses....im always careful not to make the threads too risky sounding in case of the very young ones ...but lets hope it picks up soon!
