Is this the norm from now on?

I haven't had any problems receiving emails from MyLot, not even when everyone else was having the problem. I usually don't look to much at my email notifications anyway, because I do pretty much all of my MyLotting on the site itself.

I am hating it as much as you are Grandpa Bob. I got bombarded with emails yesterday and who knows when todays emails will come in. I started calling it the "MyLot Gremlin". I am not sure when it happens. I haven't really paid that much attention. I just know that it happens for a whole day at a time. Then we get hit. Have a great day

Well, I know sometimes during the weekend, especially on Sundays there is a lot of glitches here on this site. Just can be quite annoying for sure. But what I tend to do since I choose not to get the Emails since I quit receiving all of them a long time ago anyways, is just come in here when I can and answer posts that intrigue me some, and then answer some of my friends posts in here, like this one from you as well. I'm having all kinds of e-mail problems including the following some days no e-mails, others the same e-mail 4 times, which causes me to make a trip to the board to see, if it was posted 4 times, and even an e-mail from somebody not on my friend list. Imagine my surprise with all of the same e-mails and some of you I know must have posted a discussion or two. I want people to know I'm not ignoring anyone on my friend list, but am having so many problems that its causing me to waste time opening e-mails that say the same thing. I have several discussions with not one response, which isn't normal. I know several people on my friend list do answer me. Have a good week.

it seems to be.my mails have been totally haphazard,i'm surprised i got this one.i keep finding replies on my pages i didn't know i had,it's frustrating.

I am getting the email drowning also. I also had a post deleted because I mentioned that I was behind on email because I was being swamped by the email system. Hope it gets fixed soon. My mail seems to have slowed down for now, but I have 480 emails in my inbox and they are all duplicates. lol Good Luck

I hope not. Im really getting sick of this. I hate getting thousands of emails at once. And doubles too. I havent been on that much Im trying to get my spring cleaning done before I go for surgery. Maybe someday mylot will get this glitch figured out!

I had thought this email glitch problem was resolved, until yesterday when I realised that I wasn't receiving all of yours. Plus, I have had few responses to my discussions as well, which makes me wonder if all my friends are recieving my notifications. Did you know that some people can't even log in? They haven't been banned, & still receive notifications, but just can't do anything on My Lot.

You know Grandpa Bob I received NO emails the whole weekend and now I am getting the double emails again too. It appears that mylot is short staffed or working on a skeleton crew for the weekends because the system is not working correctly. For this forum to just die out every weekend is showing us someone is not doing their job. If this is not the case then all mylot needs to do it post a message to us all and explain what the problem is. There was a time when I though that everyone here was just too busy on the weekends and not logging on to this forum but I now see that is not the case.

I'm with you Grandpa! All I have received all day is my Digest and one discussion....Obviously not this one nor any other of yours or anyone elses!! I have been going around here in a daze today using the sorties etc and responding to ones I got yesterday when they flooded in and I was at work so am still working on those but really this is annoying and makes it difficult to my lot days days...DEFINITELY!!!! I too started a discussion today after a long time of not starting any and I am sure no one has received the notification for that either!! It really makes me just want to answer what I can find and not start any of my own! I have had a couple friends concerned here because they have not seen me and it is all due to these glitches!!!! I do not know they have started anything so how can I go in!?! Very frustrating to say the least but it is a comfort in some way to at least know that I am loved and if I actually did fall off the face of the planet people would miss me here! No I think they are still working on it Grandpa Bob. I took a break over the weekend and have only come back today to find lots of discussions in my inbox too. When I'm done and have more time I'll using the mylot toobar/menu to get to the rest :)

The only emails I've received since Friday was the mylot digest and a few comments to the post I started on Friday. That's it, Grandpa Bob. It's been like this for bout a week now. I got bombarded Friday for the past weeks discussions but most of them were duplicates so I actually only received maybe 15 emails from started discussions which I know is isn't right either. -sighs- Sure hope mylot get these friggin' glitches fixed and soon.

Hey grandpa Bob...same thing is happening here...my mailbox is empty...nobody loves me...*smiles*..I have been getting alot of double posts and such...must be alot going on and hopefully soon it will be okay...I miss my emails...

it looks like it is happening every other day, on the weekend because nobody in mylot probably works on the weekend and they don't see the system going down, but I can't keep up with all these emails especially when they are doubles and triples.

How many discussions did you start this weekend Grandpa Bob? I know I have responded to 2 of them (this one and the one about you quitting smoking), but I didn't receive either of these or any others you started in my email notifications. Gotta love these glitches.

I had all those emails yesterday and today nothing. I got so many I couldn't keep up and now I'm on site searching away under friend's discussions for starters. I wonder HOW it is that some people are still getting emails? What kind of glitch is that?

Today I got doubles of all of them and they are a day late!! Wonder when we will get all caught up~!

i hope not and this doule posts is getting to be a pain in the @ss too..
