How Do You Start Your Day?

I usually do some streches, and go for a walk or do some light exercise in the morning. It helps me feel freshened up when I start my day. :]

Let's see... yoga and various forms of exercise and moving meditations are things I've tried, but that early in the morning if I move my shoulder too much it pops out of joint, so those are things that don't work for me but do for others.
Meditation would work for me if I had time to meditate right after I get up, but since I'm pretty much immediately in charge of my almost 2-year-old son when I wake up, I can't really meditate.
I suppose you could say I pray in the morning, because the very first thing I do when I wake up is thank my Gods for the day, however... saying I pray is kind of like saying I breathe. I pretty much have a running conversation with my Gods all day long, every day.

i usually begin my day by doing meditation (according to yoga system)and asana (yoga postures). i found it very helpful to prepare me performing daily activity. actually i finish my day by doing yoga meditation also.
