whats your view on homework?

Well I know all kids have homework,but what do you think is too early for home work?I have a 6 year old in kindergarden and I was suprised by the amount of homework she brought home since she has started school,I know I never had homwork in kindergarden,I think its a little excessive the amount she brings home and wondering what they exactly do in school all day since it seems everything gets sent home with her to do at home.So where do you live and is the homework sent home an excessive amount?what do you think or your opinion on the subject.

I don't think there is such a thing as too early for homework. Kids do need to reinforce what they've learned. I do think that sometimes kids get too much homework.
