A botched installation of a GPS system did so much damage that the repair shop says the car isn't drivable any more! And Circuit City is refusing to pay for the damages! http://www.switched.com/2008/03/31/circuit-city-botches-gps-install-12k-in-damages-wont-pay-up/ What do you think of this? Have you ever had something damaged by a place of business? Did they pay up?

i don't think we have ever had this happen if so nothing worth remembering. in this case it would be straight to court.

Yikes! If they were totally negligent, how can they possibly expect the guy to file a claim with his insurance company? Extremely poor (and stupid!) customer service if you ask me. I'd be camped out at Circuit City headquarters over that one. Maybe the car with big signs painted on it, parked in front of the building. : )

Companys have insurance poliies - they will and do pay. If you can prove it, and it is worth it get a lawyer. At very least, have a lawyer write a letter on your behalf.

WOW i'd be so mad. If it was me id be making sure that everyone who went there knew..and making sure they got bad publicity. But then i'm one with a big mouth for things that are bad. I hate to see people scr*wed by a company.
