You are going to start thinking that I am stalking you. I'm not. You just keep popping up in my notifications. I have never heard of warts being caused by peeling eggs. I do know that you can use eggs to cure all manner of things. Apparently if you peel an egg and then extract the inner membrane, lay this over a boil, the boil will disappear. Maybe you get a wart instead! You might be able to banish a wart the same way.

You are welcome to stalk me just as long as you give me credible responses!
I remember hearing this at school I think. I haven't heard it recently but it popped into my head as I was peeling an egg shell.
Maybe the person who said it was mistaken and had just mixed up what you said about disappearing boils. I have got some of those. I might try that. I'm all for alternative medicine!

I used to be deadly serious about Homeothapy, I even did a course in it and thought about becoming a practitioner. But as time went by I realised that my heart wasn't in it and I let it slip. I have my medicine chest and self administer when I know what is wrong with me. But I think that there is something in alternative remedies. I find that some herbal/natural medicines are very effective. If I get stung by a nettle I always go looking for a dock leaf, and I take feverfew for a gentle headache. Ibuprofen for a stinker though! I am no martyr to pain.

my sister got warts when she was little and the doctor said it was from having too much dirt under her nails and other items. she needed to keep her hands more clean and she stopped getting them as frequently. as for eggs, i've never heard that! perhaps its the sulpheric content of the eggs getting under your nails and causing a reaction? according to doctors, warts are caused by the human papillomavirus, or HPV. The virus basically affects the top layer of skin, sometimes entering through a cut or scrape.

Thank you for that information. Is HPV a form of hepatitis? I am sure that coldsores are a form of that.
