No freinds for me?

How come no one wants to be your freind here. I've become a mylotter since yesterday and have not made even a single freind here, i've asked some people but it's stil pending!
i've joined many other networks like ORKUT,YUWIE,FACEBOOK and in all i quickly made lots of freinds there used to be many freind request comming to me .Why is it different here?

Hi Fizanali! Welcome to myLot. I will be glad to be one of your friends here in myLot. Maybe the reason why some of the request you have made is because those people have not been online or are not online yet. Just be patient and I know a lot of myLotters would want to be your friend as many are very friendly here. The other sites you have joined seems to be a social networking site whereas this is a discussion forum. So just be active, be patient, post a lot, respond to a lot of topic, rate topics you have posted and for suer a lot would be willing to add you! So welcome.

Hi Welcome to MyLot here it is better to start and reply to as many discussions as you can and ask for friendship from the people that have replied to you or that you have responded to, also some people don't go online everyday so may not have seen your friends request yet, be patient. Don't feel sad about it. Maybe be they just want to know you more. Sometimes it take time have friends here. I will be willing to be your friend if you want too. Enjoy posting!!! Have a nice day

its not that way.people take some time to know you and accept as a friend.be patient keep using mylot and reponding to discussions,people will automatically be your friend.
