Lexus is a 5 year ld Black lab/ Pressa/ Cane Corso cross. She weighs just over 100 pounds. ( more then a pregnant Nicole Richie.) I love this dog to peices. I got her from people who had 12 puppies and they abused every last one of them. I took her away from there and brought her into the vet within 2 days. The vet told me that there was a slim chance of her evening living a few more days. I told them I was going to try my hardest to keep her alive. Now shes 5 and doing great. I couldn't imagine a life with out her. I do not have children so my pets serve as kids!!! She is the type of dog you can sit down with or cuddle with and hold a conversation with. She looks at you when you talk like she is listening. She comforts me when I'm down and shares my excitement when I'm happy! I know dogs don't talk and I really wish they could. I would love to hear her opinions on things! I know I'm doing a great job raising her. Everyone loves her even kids! Being a the big dog that she is.. and in the pitbull family most people are scared to meet her, but the second they see her they fall in love. She loves attention and hates being alone. For the first 3 years of her life she suffered from separation anxiety. That was tough and cost a fair chunk of money replacing everything she destroyed. I didn't have the heart to crate her until I got a new puppy last year. Ever since then she's been even better! She took on the role of mother to my puppy, the younger one always attacks her in a play full way and no matter what she does Lexus just deals with it. I think everyone needs a companion like Lexus. Someone you can talk to, confide in, and feel safe when ever their around. Shes protected me a few times in some serious cases and I am ever so great full for her. What on earth would I do with out her?!! I really hope that my puppy learns everything she can from Lexus. So far so good! I dread the day she passes on. Life wont be the same with out her.. thats for sure!
