When you add a comment to a response it does not change but it does increase for each discussion response you post.
Sometimes the number of your post count will go down, if a discussion you have started, or responded to, is removed. This can happen when the discussion, or one of the responses to it, has gone against the rules of myLot.

Its because where ever I start my discussion I reply to each in 6-10 sentences as you can very well see here

I think it can add to your earnings. Adding comments keeps your discussion high in the lists and you get more responses. You have a better chance of getting into the day's hot topics and the top discussions. This is the way you earn more money at myLot. There is no set amount paid per post. Everyone at myLot is earning differently. None of us knows how our earnings are worked out. Just keep being active and watch them increase.

Yes it used to happed couple of times..
-- sometimes when you start the new discussion, it cannot be added to your discussions count, because system will take some time to update to this in to the number of posts. after postings if you went for the any othes discussions and respond the same, after posting the your respond, if you find the number of postings, it will be added "2" this is nothing but those new discussion which you start just now.. and this resopnse..
-- and when you give your comment for the response which you get for your discussions, you will not awarded as the number of discussions.. and this will not calculated as a number of discussions and also this cannot be calculated for your earnings also.
In This Two situations where you can find the dicussion count will not be added with the existings, but in the first case, it will be added afer some time, but in the later case, this willnot be considered for the number of posts at all..
Good discussion, I think you can be awarded for the P.hd in Mylot..

This discussion was one of the discussions that I posted first on mylot.
A small rectification:-
sometimes when you start the new discussion, it cannot be added to your discussions count, because system will take some time to update to this in to the number of posts.
For a discussion to add up to your number of posts,you must need at least 2 responses or 1 response and a comment.
And as for the second case,you have said,you are perfectly right.

Even if you leave it as it.. it will be added to your number of discussion, after some time.. there is no number be response and comments count is required.. for example i have noted that..

it only changes when you post a new comment somewhere,either on your own thread,or someone else's.
if you post again under one you previously replied on,it doesn't change.

i think that number increases
1) when you make a response
2)when you start a discussion and 2 people responds to it
3) when you start a discussion and 1 person responds to it and you comment on that response
4) when you comment on a response made by another person for a discussion which you haven't responded before.
These are the situations according to me will add up that number (ratings) next to your name.
