Hooking PC to TV

I have hooked my PC to my TV to use my TV screen as a monitor. I have installed the highest rating 3D card in my computer. I have a 57" DLP 1080p TV. I am still getting a blurry pix and the computer window is cut off on all 4 sides. I have tried adusting the PC settings, and the TV settings. No luck. Any suggestions would be helpful. THanks!!!
