Where do you feel your stress the most?

When I am upset or stressed out about something, I feel it in my stomach. I'll feel nauseated or get a stomach ache. Many people feel it in their head or shoulders and get severe headaches and muscle tension. Or perhaps you don't feel it physically at all, but just can't sleep or concentrate. Where do you feel your stress the most?

I'm not sure I have a solution for stress. I wish it were that simple that we could just take a pill or something and make it go away. Doesn't work like that though. All I can say, is what anyone would say to you, deep breaths, soak in the bath, take a walk, listen to music, stuff like that.

My stress is too much sometimes cause i care too much about people who are close to me like my brothers, sisters, mom, dads, etc. I don't know why i should be involving with all these kind of things but i feel the obligation which i cannot deny as part of them.

You brought up a good one Ellie. Sometimes stress does tire you out more easily.

Its horrible how much the body reacts to stress. Sometimes I don't realize just how stressed out I am until my body starts reacting to it.

I feel it the most in my eyes and head. (Nerves problem?)
Probably the muscle tension near the eyes. Sometimes it just hurts very much and I can’t stare too much on any screen because the effect I got from the light would be too painful to bear.
Sometimes when I just couldn’t bear it, I would need to close my eyes for a while, until the stress was lighter.

I was like you since I was a little girl, I couldn't even eat breakfast in the morning because I would throw it back up. I am feeling queasy right now actually as I have to get up and get ready to go to the doctor.

It is only in the last 6 years that it has affected me physically... and it has got worse... to the point that now I have an instant reaction to it.
All the muscles in my shoulders and my back tense up really hard to the point of making me feel nausea if I don't regain control of myself very quickly.
If I cannot control it... I have to go to bed and sleep it off for an hour or two.
That is why today I avoid being in contact with people who constantly make me angry for the fun of it. The best policy is not to over react... but that is not always easy to do.

I get headaches when I stress out and have sleepless nights. They can go on for a few days before I figure out what or how to deal with it.

Like you when I am awake, I feel it in my stomach, it is like a huge knot that just does not go away and I cannot eat a thing until it goes away. When the kids stress me out I get it in my head and get such a bad pressure in my head it is untrue. If I am stressed out still when I go to bed, it will come out in my dreams as nightmares and they will wake me up they are that bad and sweat, well it is just awful! I am a terrible stresshead, never used to be just over the last couple of years. I need to chill out a bit more!!!
