I love bread. A trip to the bakery is a nice treat to me. I am always amazed at the variety of bread selection in there. Everything looks yummy. I am fascinated by the different sizes, shapes and colors.
Though I love going to the bakery and see all those different kinds of bread in there... honestly, I have not tasted all kinds of bread. I only buy those that I am familiar with and with names I can read, pronounce and memorize
.
The bread that I usually buy is the loaf bread, 100% wheat. This I always get from our local grocery though and not in bakeries. It's very convenient for me because I make sandwiches for my hubby's lunch. However, I love the french bread specially with spaghetti, I would spread garlic butter in it and toast... and that's my garlic bread for my spaghetti. But I miss one particular bread and it is not available anywhere in the world (I guess) except from where I came from and that is "bonete". It's a simple bread shaped like a bonnet and often bought fresh from the oven. I can eat it as is or with spread. I miss it so much.
So what is your favorite kind of bread? Can you share the kind of bread that we do not know yet and can only be found in your place?

My favorite kind of bread is made with whole wheat flour and has whole sunflower seeds in it. It's a recipe I kind of developed over time, from a basic white flour bread. I bake a lot of my bread, but also buy it from the store. I love good French bread but haven't been able to make it to suit my taste, so I buy that sometimes.

I looove bread and just abot all baked goodies. xD
There's a bakery I always go to in Japan, started by French people who moved to japan. I think there's one in San Francisco, too, It's called Andersons.
The bread they have there is SOOO fresh and SOOOOO good. There's such a huge variety, to. They have everything from cheese bread and baguettes, to chocolate filled bread, to melon bread and adzuki bean filled bread.
