What do you do when you're waiting for something and bored?

I found myself waiting today..at a walk in clinic for a new inhaler. It was a very long wait. Normally i read a book. I read today but i finished the book then i was bored. So i started people watching, noticing what others were doing. One lady was tidying her purse another was reading and yet another was sitting and methodically picking all the fingernail polish off her fingers. One gentleman was doing a crossword puzzle, some people were listening to headphones, some were staring off into space (i wondered what they were thinking about)
What do you guys find youselves doing when you have a long wait?

I usually go out with my bf or my mom so i just talk to him or her and times passes by. If I have a newspaper in my hand, i would go at the game section and play sudoku. If my bf is there, he wouls lent me his pocket video game :P

I usually read anything that's available but I prefer bringing my own book.
