Well, I woke up to my mother paging my phone today. She was laughing in my ear, and I got mad at her quickly, because I hate being woken up by her, she's quite annoying. I asked her what was so funny, and she said, "You washed your cell phone in the laundry! I can see bubbles in the camera lense!" I was so mad, oh my gosh, it was a brand new cell phone! She took it all apart, and left it out to dry. My father, who has an electronics drying machine of some sort, worked on it all day for me to dry it out. He got it working, which is great, but when we turned it on, you could see water behind the screen! He's still working to dry it out some more, but at least it works now! Have you ever done something to your cell phone on accident, that has broken it, or almost broken it?

When we had our company, we bought Treos for the three of us to use. My husband couldn't hold on to a phone to save his life. He kept dropping it and I was so worried that he was going to break it. Those phones cost us $600 a piece. Our partner was very fond of taking his stuff apart and playing with it. He dropped his a lot and kept his in his pocket with keys and change without a cover on it. I just knew that the LCD screens were going to get broken. I kept mine in the case at all times on my side. It fell at the office one day and my husband was picking on me about actually dropping mine. I was lucky because mine had been in it's case and it fell straight down. My husband's was always landing on corners and toppling. Before we left to head home, I went to check my e-mail and my LCD screen was shattered. My husband laughed so hard and I cried. In the end, it only cost $100 to get the screen repaired, but I had to send it off to get fixed and had to do without it for two weeks. I never lived that one down between the two of them. My husband brings it up every time I tease him about dropping his new Blackberry.

I'd love to have a blackberry, but they are so expensive. When we got our cellphone plan, we got the free phones that came with the plan. After the first year, we upgraded, and got a discount on our Razors, but those were horrible, in my case anyway, because I ended up having to get 2 of them replaced, and it was company defects, so that wasn't even me. My boyfriend still has his razor though, with no problems. He wants to upgrade his to a sidekick as soon as we are able to upgrade, that way we don't have to pay so much for the sidekick, since they are quite expensive.

I love my Blackberry Pearl. My son got one for Christmas from my father and I was hooked. Luckily, our contract was up for renewal so I got to get my Blackberry even though it was a little pricey and my husband got his Blackberry Curve that he's been wanting. After rebates and upgrade discount, mine will only be $100 and his will be $300. A lot less than we paid for those Treos. That was $1800.00 a pop. Glad that time is over. I've heard and seen lots of negatives with the Razors. I remember when they were first coming out, I wanted one so bad! Two of our friends got them right away and both had severe problems with them. One friend moved on to another phone altogether and the other kept sending his back in for a replacement. After four times of replacing it, he finally got one that worked. About a month ago, another friend of ours called and asked if we had any old phones that she could use because hers was all screwed up. Since we are with the same company, I gave her one of my son's old phones to use. Hers was a Razor. Then two weeks ago, my sister-in-law asked about a phone and we told her that if she would order an antenna for the Treo we had left, she could have that. She said she was tired of trying to talk through the static that was always present on her phone. She got jipped on eBay over the antenna so we ended up giving her one of our MDA's that we just upgraded to the Blackberrys. Her static-filled phone was a Razor as well. I think it's safe to say that I would never recommend one of those to anyone.

Oops what are you like!! I have never done anything to my phone, but my daughter broke one of mine by bathing it in a cup of orange juice! Sticky stuff is the worst for killing a phone as it just rots it, so that was the end of that phone!
