Do My Eyes Deceive Me?

Just a few days ago I was looking at the NetWinner prizes. Why? Because some myLot friends were complaining that they took away the gift card option. I was confused because I am certain they had a reloadable MasterCard as a withdrawal option with a $25 minimum. Notwithstanding the $3 processing fee, that seemed fair enough. But I noticed today that now the minimum cash out is $100 still with a $3 processing fee. But I asked Mr. Google and there was not one word about yet another change, and neither could I find any discussions by keyword here on myLot. Anybody know what gives?

No, I didn't know the took the card away. I will definately have to take a look to see what is going on with it. I guess that's what I get for not being there for a bit.

The card is still there, but it seems that the minimum payout is now 4 times higher than it was before. It makes me wonder if when I near that level they might not raise it again, though. I do think the MasterCard is a good incentive, even with the $3, but I don't care for the thought that they would charge the fee over and again without a second payout, particularly as I have not reached my first one!

I don't know anything about NetWinner, but it seems that everyone is changing their policies online for some reason. I think it makes making online income harder and harder (just like the other discussion we have about Helium).

Just the result of a global financial meltdown, maybe. But TOS are TOS as far as I'm concerned. I believe with NetWinner they reserved the right to make any changes they wanted to, but Helium has some specific terms into perpetuity, so if they cannot honor them, I think they need to just shut down.

Boy am I glad to see this discussion. I thought I was losing my mind! I just got up to 25,000 points today and went to cash out when, surprise! I don't think I am going to bother trying to get to 100,000 points. From the sounds of things they are not planning to pay people anyway and are even finding ways to not give us the points we win (the entry instead of points). If you are disappointed you are not alone.

Sounds omminous. Along with others, I have found that the game often crashes when I go to cash out for the entry instead of points. One person says it crashed on a Jackpot and s/he did a screen grab but they didn't honor that as a win, but chalked it up to technical difficulties. That happened to me a time or two on SkillJam before WorldWinner bought them out. I can't really blame them because somebody could fake a screengrab I suppose, but surely it would be disappointing. Once the spin stopped at some very high prize on Moola when I was playing and the screen sat there frozen for a minute or so before moving slowly to the 1 Cent win. Sorry to hear they changed the amount right when you were ready to cash out! Bummer.

They also took away the 10 pt. prize and now give an entry in a daily prize. If you want more info go to their forum, it is Netwinnercentral.com.

Yes I did see all that, but w9 our of ten times the game crashed when I try to save the win if it is an entry instead of points. That never happened before and it doesn't happen when I save the win and it IS points, so I've been continuing beyond the entries and trying for larger point wins. I am just a little concerned that if I did ever get a jackpot the game would crash. I guess that hasn't happened to you yet! Hope it doesn't!

I know they had some processing problems for a long time with the new payout, but this is different. I hope you eventually get paid. Apparently others have but in one case I think it was a 5 months wait.

After reading this discussion I went and checked it out. It is a $100 cash out now. and on top of that your "10 Point" wins don't even count towards your total anymore! they just enter you into a drawing for $100. Fat chance on that. I took what points I had and cashed it in for 32 Chances in the IPOD touch Raffle. Might as well attempt to get SOMETHING out of my points. But with that I am officially done. Someone made the comment that no one gives like netwinner does.Take a look at www.easycashspot.com My payout for there is $420 for this month and it is only the 12th. I have made well over $2000 there since August and I get paid each and every month. No excuses about why they are behind and I can't get paid. Plus they have custom orders where you can order whatever you want for free to. Just check out the forums there and you'll see what I mean. I will now dedicate all my time to this site. Netwinner is a thing of my past.

The easycashspot link rerouted to something called SwatCash--is that the same thing? It doesn't look like a game to me. I seriously hope that was not a referral link, as you know myLot would not approve. Whois tells me that easycashspot is registered to you!

Even that 1 entry feature that replace the 10 points is broken. It freezes and times out every time you try to collect. I tried several different games. Looks like Netwinner has painted themselves into a corner and most of us are bailing. Knew this was coming when they put in the game play limits.

That is disappointing indeed. I did get a 5000 point spin recently, but it would take 20 of those to reach the new payout.

I played several times and received a drawing entry, so feel its a big waste of time. The minimum payout is so high when you only receive a few points a day, so very few people will be able to cash out now. The processing fee is suppose to be for the first time only.

That is what would seem reasonable about the processing fee, too, however, it seems there are ways to get hit with the $ over again. That would definitely reduce the value of the whole experience.

The last time it was 25.00 minimum to cash out on the reloadable mastercard.WHo knows they probably changed stuff around again which will be bad if they change it to 100.00 cash out.I got out reloadable mastercard last month and it had around 47.00 on it with the 3.00 processing fee taken out.We finally got it 5 months later from the date I requested it and they said they were behind on sending out the cards. Also I think if you dont keep a balance on it within so many months they will take out another 3.00 processing fee which is not good since netwinner makes it appear like its a one time fee for one time.

So if they process something they charge $3 for doing it and if they don't process anything they still charge $3 for not doing it? Go figure.

My NetWinner prizes - This is a screenshot of my NetWinner redemptions. They really do pay! I've already received $300 out of $432 won! :)
Hi drannhh. I've been a member of NetWinner for almost a year and a half and have earned $432 so far thanks to a recent $5 card on Banko, woohoo. When I first got started, the payouts were much quicker but I have already received $300 in payouts (12 out of 17 cashouts). The most recent was the new ecount card which did take almost 5 months before I received it, however, I had already started redeeming for this payout method before they even had the cards available so I knew I was going to be waiting longer than usual. I was quite surprised to see your discussion mentioning the new minimum as I had just cashed out for another $25 on the 3rd of this month. With the delays in getting the new cards out I have 5 more $25 payouts that will go to my card over the next 5 months, however I did confirm that my next request will have to wait a little longer since it has indeed been raised to $100. I am a little disappointed to see the lowest prize is now prize entries but I'll have to reserve judgement on that til I see how it works out. The last time I played was Friday & the site went down for maintenance while I was playing. Since I was out of town this weekewnd, I'm just finding out about the big changes. Looks like the prizes are going to change often. Today it's 10-$100 ecount cards, hmmm, nice prize. As many times as I've gotten a 10 point win during a days play, I could easily generate quite a few entries each day. Until now, I've managed to earn enough to cashout almost every month so it'll probably take 4 months to reach the next cashout unless I can win some prize drawings, lol. Luckily my pending payouts should keep my card activated so there aren't any more fees, but 4 months may exceed the activity requirements a little as that'll be a big gap between payouts. Hopefully I can remember to keep a little balance on the card until my first $100 payout comes thru.

Since I just got my card, I'm not sure either, but I'll be checking out the forum for more information. I'm sure other NetWinner players will be asking questions with changes this big, lol. Thanks for the Best Response, & have fun playing.

Sounds like they have done well by you. I don't quite understand that bit about more fees when the card has to be reactivated. Sounds a little tricky to me. Good luck, and keep on having fun winning.

I cashed in over 7 months ago and never got my card. I no longer play on netwinners. I think its a scam I played on there for about 4 months before I cashed out and never got anything I'm done with that now.

It sounds like a lot of people are done with it! I just joined recently on their so-called sister site called FreeMoneyWheel, not realizing it was the same exact thing. The banko game was sort of fun until they replaced the 10 points with some goofy entry. Seven months? Wow! Have you contacted them recently? I heard they had started making good on the eCard requests finally, but don't know if it is true.

I did not know they raised the minimum payout. I will have to check that out. But I did see today that they have replaced the 10 point win with 1 entry into the daily payout prize drawing. And to make it worse, if you get the 1 entry (formerly 10 points) even if it is along with a larger win the cash-out/continue button freezes up and you can't collect. I definitely need to read what's going on in the forum today. This new feature sucks.

I agree. The entry into the drawing is not exciting.
