Not that there's anything wrong with it. When he was younger, he wanted a baby. I didn't have a problem with it at all so I got him one. We still have his baby doll and a new brother.
He is one of the most loving big brother. I am sure things will change when they are older, but I am glad I didn't have to deal with any jealousness. Also, his favorite color is pink, he loves dinosaurs and cars, and he is very healthy and loving.

I don't think there is anything wrong with this either, but I suspect you must be a bit concerned if you're posting about this! There's far too much gender-stereotyping, and it's healthy for boys to like and be exposed to 'typical' girl things, and vice versa - why should girls miss out on train-sets and boys miss out on dolls and toy pushchairs? They're all fun to play with and they all teach them about different aspects of life. Enjoy your son and encourage him to develop his own likes and dislikes so he can gain independence and develop his own little personality.

Before I had kids, I thought it was such a stupid thing to worry about. Now, it is in the back of my head. I also think it is good for kids to be exposed to different things. Wether it's toys, food, language, anything. Let them decide what they want to excel in.

My son is the youngest of 3 children. His older siblings are both girls. When he was a toddler he wanted to play with dolls and stuff and liked pink too. But he outgrew that. I tried to avoid saying stuff like "that's just for girls". But rather encouraged him to spend his money on games and cars. Which eventually he did on his own anyway. Now he has over 200 Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. And his favorite color is green.
