My grandma's 90th birthday finally came. She had open heart surgery last summer and almost didn't make it a few times. With all the prayers she received from my wonderful mylot friends, she recoverd and has been doing really well. She turned 90 this last weekend and we had a big party for her. The family came from Texas and Minnesota, and of course here in Illinois. We rented a room in a restraunt and had a band play old 50's songs. She danced a single dance with all the men. She told me that she felt like a queen. That was the first time the whole family came together in over 30 years. It was a day the we will never forget.
Here is a question that she wanted me to ask, does she look 90? If not how old does she look? I will let her know what you all think. Thanks so much.

You tell her she looks like a classy and regal lady who doesn't look anywhere near 90! I remember my late grandma's 90th birthday party. She was a hoot. I'm glad all of your family came together for such a special occasion. Your grandma now has some more great memories, as do the rest of your family. : )

Hi OURDEW
I'm so happy for you and your family, to be able to celebrate this special event together. What a wonderful way for the whole family to come together after so long. Your grandma is such a regal, classy lady, and is still so beautiful too. No, I'd never have believed she is ninety, if I didn't know so. She looks to be between 70 - 80 at the most, with 80 being on the high end. Take care.

Wow! Cool. That's a number to count and a journey reached.
Youth doesn't go with age, it goes with how we value our youth. Youth embodies enthusiasm but the real value lies with a smile amidst the long journey.
I mean, your mom journeyed long enough on this complicated world but if she can offer her smile to the young ones, that's a youthful glow worth sharing, that's the real enthusiasm.
Let tell her to smile for me. That makes her not only younger and beautiful. That's makes her carry along with her youthful glow, enthusiasm and gist for life.
A smile makes the young ones younger.. Cheers!
I look forward to knowing what she says..
