After a baseball game man falls to death...

Man was sliding down escalator as fans were leaving Shea stadium. He lost his balance and fell. Died about 25 minutes later at hospital.
Article doesn't say if he was shoved or goofing off.They are investigating it as an accident. Have you ever been pushed by a heavy crowd, to the point you thought you might fall over? I know it sometimes happens at music concerts. Just surprised this happened at a baseball game.

I have been pushed by a heavy crowd at a concert before but i didn't get hurt. My sister fell on an escaltor at a hospital and broke her arm though. I bet that guy was just goofing off when he lost his life. He was probably happy and was trying to have fun with it.

well if he is sliding down the escalator he more then likely goofing off, trying to pass the crowd. I am sure it will be investigated, by the police or something.

I am sure that the man was trying to be clever and get down the escalator more quickly than the other people. Given the context, I would not be surprised to find he was drunk at the time, either. As long as it wasn't my brother.. I mean, I did give him tickets to see a ballgame yesterday. :p
