Have you ever owned or played a Virtual Boy?

I did play one back around '95-96 at Best Buy. I played Mario Clash. Virtual Boy is regarded as Nintendo's biggest failure as far as consoles go. I never owned one, but I guess there were some good games on it, such as Wario Land. I've read that playing one too long can lead to headaches and such.

I played one at the store that was called hills which is no longer there. I thought it was cool to play it. I remember everything was red in the games. Everybody else I knew seemed to not like it at all. I think I played the game Wario Land when I was there.

I have never even heard of this system must of been a very short run item.

I think it lasted a year or so. Then Nintendo 64 came out and everyone drew their attention to that. I think the Virtual Boy had about 20 (maybe less) U.S. released games for it. I guess they fetch a decent price on ebay nowadays, so there is some demand for them. If I had the money, I'd probably consider getting one.
