Have you regained lost friendship?

When I read your discussion, I suddenly remember a friend of mine. She's closest friend I got since I was in college and late last year I sort of distance myself. She did something that hurt me a lot. She actually did it long before and I found it later of last year. I was really sad and I felt that the whole world collapse in front of me. I cried. I didn't confront her because I'm not good when it comes to that. So I tried to let it go and be calm. I talked to her few times just saying hi and hello. That's all. And day by day, I slowly slipped out of her life. I don't know I can't seem to form the world that had collapsed. She's working out of town and has been living there for how many years. Though we don't see each other in person but we send messages and emails, sometimes calling each other -- until that incident. Time will come, we'll see each other again. We'll talk like we used to before but for now.. not now.

Yes, i have faced this situation and the truth is it was my mistake. I said sorry and explained him. yes i regained the friendship - but i feel that its not that strong, now it will take more time to be in same position. the trust need to grow. need time now and effort form my side. enjoy:)

I have had a strange relationship with this one friend and it seems the only time she would want to be around is when she needed me for something...I haven't seen her for about 3 yrs and told her until she straightened up her life i wasn't going to contribute to the wrong she does with her and her children..and her relationships with guys. Guess that life was worth more than us as friends to her
