Friggin Weekend Glitches Again

Well it was once again the typical myLot weekend for me with the usual glitches. I have one friend that posts each and every day so I know this friend had started discussions all weekend. So I checked the friends list and sure enough, I had a few that had the notify button clicked to off as opposed to on which I have ALL my friends set to ON. Now I don't know about all others here but each weekend I seem to have this glitch occur too often. Then of course I recieved maybe 50 emails ALL weekend only. So it seems possibly that the email glitch was still here for the weekend. It seems to happen each weekend for some reason. This is all occuring since the last update we had here. I did write to myLot asking to have this mended but it is still happening every weekend. Are you also experiencing the missing emails each weekend? Do you have friends that their notification button gets switched to off ever so often as well? I wish myLiot could get the server repaired and mend these weekend issues. I haven't been very active lately and no more so on the weekends, either. But now that I am getting settled in a little to my new home, I will start to be more active again. I don't notice in my emails that there are less emails on the weekend, though, because I am so far behind I just look at the number of emails I have, not when they came. Right now I have over 2000 emails from mylot and I have a lot of work ahead of me to catch up with them. I leave all my friends notify buttons on all the time since I want to recieve their discussions so I don't have to search for them, or others. I get enough from my friends that I don't need to look for more discussions to respond to.

I've really slowed my time down on the weekends due to this ever persistent glitch on the weekends.I wait till later on Mondays or Tuiesdays when I get blasted with hundreds of emails and most are duplicates as well. YIKES! 2000? That's going to take a long time to catch up. Good luck with that as well as good luck in the new home. Moving can be very stressful.

I looked at the dates on my emails after I responded to your discussion and I noticed I only got 2 emails on Saturday and only 1 on Sunday so I guess you are right about the glitch still being here. But in saying that, it doesn't matter to me because of the old ones I can respond to.

I have been hearing from my friends that They are not being notified when I start a new discussion. I contacted Mylot about it a while ago and they never got back to me about it. I guess that so many people are having a problem with it, that they are too swapped to reply to everyone. I hope the problems are fixed soon.

Hmm. I don't think I missed any emails this weekend. I was getting email regarding new discussions being started.
I have had all my friends reset before. It is such a huge project to change them, that the vast majority were left off.

I have well over 400 so ever so often when one gets turned
off it is a huge task to see if others were also turned off.
They need a check all button for this feature I think.

Yeah I have had that happen to be before it was weird glad to know it isnt just me lol. And you know my complaints about weekend email too hate it. But I seem to have gotten mine this weekend I think.

I kept up quite easily all weekend, which tells me I probably wasn't getting enough notifications. I should have had a bunch more emails since I don't think everyone abandoned this place completely for the nice weather. By the way, I see you made top discussions with your topic about your wife - that was a great discussion.
I wonder how many friends have checked their notification buttons lately?

Yes it did make it in the daily myLot Digest. I get a lot of discussions in the digest when I do post a discussion. Thanks also. I did not get many emails either and I know I should have had a lot more. But I have the feeling I'll get bombarded soon with emails from the weekend. Unless everyone took a vacation this weekend.

Hi GRANDPA BOB! I do experience those glitches once in awhile and I make it a point to check on the notification if it is on. When I get less than 50 emails, that means something is off again, so I checked everyone all over again..kinda tiring and time-consuming if I may say!

yeah that's what I do as well. But seems this weekend thing has been going on since the last update. I have heard others saying the same thing in the past. But I'll manage. I don't go hunting for discussions too often here as I get so many emails from my friends discussions etc.

the ones I normally see all the time are here for me,if some are off I don't know. I do have my son's friend who just joined and her emails are not coming to me at all. I wrote to mylot twice and got no answer.

That is why I always use the link in MyLot that is on the left which reads ' discussions I've started '.
It is much more responsive than waiting for the emails as it is instant, and if the name isn't our own then the person who responded is right at the end of it.

I had no problems with over the weekend. I am currently having a problem recieving notifications from certain friend in particular. This has been going on since before the last glitch. I have to go to their profiles to see what discussions that I can respond to.

I have all my friends turned on but have a few that I am not receiving email notifications for and not sure why. I might have to recheck again and see whether they are still turned on.

i got huge number of emails from mylot because almost all friends on my list i on their notification. every i received many discussions so it needs and invite me to post my comments under this. i am dependent with my email notification on posting my comments.
i hope mylot fixed all problems encounter some of mylotters.

So far I haven't experienced anything like that.. I do have all of my friends notification set to on.. Could any of the missing emails be in your spam folders, I have found a few in mine.. Hope Mylot gets your problems fixed for you.. Have a great evening Grandpa Bob
