I have used it to make various forms of jewelry. It's really great and easy to use. I would shape the pieces and then paint them. I've actually been thinking about using it again and making something different with it.

Yes, it's pretty much like Hornswaggled said. I would post a picture but I threw some of this jewelry out because it was too out of style and starting to fall apart. But, I had it for years in pretty good shape.

I do! I have made many pendants for necklaces with poly clay. I've etched the clay and later painted it and I also love to stamp designs into it, bake it and then paint it later.
This is one of latest poly clay creations....

I am interested in polymer clay but I am still the beginner. I haven't made a wonderful polymer clay figure yet. If one day I can successfully make it better, I'd like to sell on it via the net.
I love China

I haven't had a chance to use the polymer clay I've got stashed yet, I got mine at Michaels for 99 cents a pack. I am planning to use them for bear faces (miniature bears that I make out of mohair)and I also am going to use it for beaks for penguins (I make miniature ones out of mohair). I am hoping to get my workshop re set up and get back to making teddy bears...I miss doing them a ton. I was going to get going on them last year but my daughter and her family (it amounted to five extra people) came to stay and were here nine months. It wouldn't have been so bad but my house is only big enough to handle a family of three at the most. Needless to say with two small children the place was constantly in motion. Anyhow I am almost reset up, and anxious to get started again.
There are some wonderful idea books (you can find some on ebay) and other sites so that you can get ideas. I have seen wonderful sculptures done in polymer clay...in fact I bought one. It's a Nun with a hammer and nail, it is darling and I'm sure it didn't take the person too long to make it. I spotted a book on making polymer fairies that I would have bought in a heartbeat if I had had the money.

I am an artist that works out of my home and I have used sculpted clay alot in many of my art projects...I have made sculpted clay fairies and captured them in glass jars and put netting over the top....they turned out well...I make fairie houses and I use the sculpted clay to add accessories to the house like a cookie sheet with cookies, an apple pie, decorations for the walls. I have used it in jewelry. There are many many things you can do with it...just get your thinking cap on :)
