OK yesterday i started a discussion on how i was getting discouraged. Well i still am a little discouraged, but i got the suprise of all time, when my sister-in-law came this morning she only had the 7month old baby with her, the 2 year old is staying home with his dad on his day off. I just want to know why he couldnt of kept both of them. if you ask me the 7 month old is way easier to take care of than a 2 year old. I was suprised though that he took one of them. To let you know he is the kind of husband that doesnt do anything with the kids, no diaper changes, no feeding them, no watching them so mom can take a shower. So this is a BIG deal for him. Have you ever babysitted for someone because there S/O was a douchbag that didnt want to take care of there own kids?

Lucky you lol. My ex is the same way a douchbag as you so delicatly put it. When we first split up hed come get the oldest all the time because our youngest is autistic and a little more difficult for him. I finally just told him you take both or i sent neither so now he takes them both but throws them in front of the tv and does his own thing or dumps them at grandmas.

thats what hes probally doing with his oldest right now, i dont see him actually paying that much attention to him. The mom told me today that the kid was crying b/c he wanted to go bye bye, so that makes me feel good. I do throw them in front of the tv, but i also sit and play with them too. its not like he acutally watches the movies he puts in LOL. as soon as i get paid im going to buy some stuff for learning materials. So i can teach him a little. I need to potty train him, but have no idea where to start.

yea everytime i ask if he wants to go potty he doesnt, the other dya he pulled off his diaper and peed on the floor before i came back into the living room, it was then i thought maybe its time to potty train. My sister in law, said she was trying but i dont think its been working so far. I dont know we dont have a small toilet for him so i dont know if that would make a differance.

Wow I bet that was a real surprise for you!! Yes I would have preferred to have the 7 month old over the 2 year old, I have a 2 year old and I know what a handful she is!! I expect it was the thought of feeding and changing that put him off if he is like that!!

you are so right thats probally what it is. its just like him, he thinks well i can just throw the two year old in front of the tv and ignore him. I dont know for sure, but it would be so like him.
