My car gets good gas mileage. I drive a nissan altima. My husbands truck on the other hand, is a Ford F150 4w, and is eating our groceries. Does your car or truck get good gas mileage and if so, what do you drive?

What is good? My nissian Quest van gets about 17-18 miles per gal. My Ford Contour got around 28mi. per gal. Unfortunatly it went to car heaven after a wreck.

I recently had to buy a new car because the one that got great gas mileage was having too many things go wrong with it all at once. My old car was a Geo Metro which got an overall mileage of 33MPG with mostly city driving. It could get over 43MPG on the highway. I drive an Aveo and I get an all around gas mileage of about 25 MPG with mostly city driving, but about 33MPG on the freeway, which I hardly ever drive on now that I don't go anywhere. I hope that, next time, I can get a small American car that's a hybrid, because all the hybrid American cars that they make now are very large.

I drive a ford ranger, and it needs a tune up so the gas milage stinks.

My husbands truck is due for a tune up too and that may help. It will probably be cheaper in the long run to go ahead and pay for the tune up. Thanks for replying.
