When i was a little girl we had penny candy. it would be one sucker, one piece of gum, one laffy taffy etc. You could buy 100 for a dollar. Do you remember thoe?? Or how about nickel candy bars?? 20 for a buck. WOW!!!! How much is penny candy now?? Last time I checked it was 25 cents for one piece of bubble gum or one sucker. Sheesh Candy bars are about 60 cents. This is in the US if you live else where maybe you could tell us how much penny candy was for you and what you called it.
What other treats do you remember and how much are they now??I did research and look what i found

I was a fan of chocolate and I still am. Back in the days a chocolate bar was 50cents or even less. And now it's like 1.25$ here in Canada. Everything went expensive but it's normal beecause the salary has increased as well so it's the same for products.

I remember those little gum ball machines where you could buy a piece of bubble gum for a penny you would need to buy about 30 pieces to make a good piece of gum though. I have not seen those machines around in a long time. There are still those machines that you can get a piece of gum for a quarter around though.

$0.60 for a chocolate bar?! I'm moving to where you live LOL last time I bought a chocolate bar near me I'm sure it was at least a $1! In Niagara Falls (canada), Niagara Region overall actually you're paying OVER a $1 for a chocolate bar...
