OMG!!! Why Carly??

Carly did a good performance! I am expected brook and jayson will be out..They did a bad performance that time. I love Brook but she didn't made it.! It's really a popularity contest..We can't do anything about it. But its not the end of carly..I know she will be known more than as being a contestant of american idol. This is only the beginning of her carreer.

This is quite shocking... i loved the way she sang "Jesus Christ Superstar" last night... and based on performance... it should have been either Jason Castro or Brooke White... and even David Archuleta... American Idol is indeed full of surprises... but i think good things are coming along Carly's way... this is the real big break that she deserves...

I was also surprised that she got booted! another of my favorites gone. The only one really left of mine that's a fav is David cook.

I did not expect that at all. She did so well. I thought it would be between Brooke, because she messed up, or Jason. They got this one wrong this time.

I'm still in 'shock and awe' over Kristy Lee going home last week, I really wanted her to take it!!! I'm sad to see Carly go, I've wanted to see David A. or Syiesha(sic?) go home for a lot of weeks, but they are still around. I'm not sure if our votes really count. Maybe too many people are talking during the show and watching the commercials, so they aren't voting for the right people. Maybe some people are confused and they are voting for people they want to vote off instead of who they want to keep. And now there are 5 to fight over. I see Carly making a cd, and I will probably buy it, I know I'll buy Kristy Lee's. She lives right down the freeway from me. I've probably been next to her in line at Wal-Mart or the gas station, or Burger King. She has my support. For now, I'm for David C. or Brooke. But cute little sweet David A. will probably take it.

I was so surprised! I think she needed to go anyways after the details came out of her previous record deal but I definitely think there are worse contestants on the show. I know it's part of the show for America to vote but they are obviously not voting for the best performer. How is that fair? Randy was right, it's not about the singing, it's a popularity contest. It will be interesting to see how next week pans out.

Yeah I was really ticked off when she got voted off. I have been voting for her and Michael Johns since the beginning and they are both gone now. So I will vote for my last favorite, David Cook. I think Syesha or Jason should have been voted off. I don't think just this week was a popularity contest but the whole season has been. Every week no matter how some of them are terrible and mess up they are still kept on. Carly and Michael were the best ones on their. :)

I can't believe this, Brooke messes up yesterday and Carly gets the boot. There should be no question who is the better singer between the two. Come on America, lets get it right.

I was surprised she was the one voted off as I thought it woudld be Brooke or Jason. It's looking like it's more of a popularity show now instead of a talent one. I thought Syeshia sang quite well actually, both her and Carly, and much better than Brooke and Jason.

An article on the Internet did a breakdown of the age groups voting for the different Idols. Like the demographics of who was voting for each one. They didn't do one on Carly though. She was superb and deserved to stay another week. Brooke truly thought she was going home and looked horrendous the rest of the evening - I think she knew she should have gone.

I was also surprised to the result yesterday. I was really shocked to the bottom two and I didn't expect Carly would be the one eliminated. I am hoping for Brooke and Jason to be the one in the bottom two, really didn't expected it. I mean Carly and Syeshia really did a great job, and Jason and Brooke really messed their performance, I really didn't understand voters right now. i really hope they will vote wisely in the future, so that jason and brooke will be eliminate.

It's tough for me to say who is better, they are both brillant singer! I hope they do enjoy themselves and had a good time.

I also feel the same way. I mean, I was very shocked with the result last night in American Idol. I really thought it would be Brooke White and Jason Castro who would be the bottom 2. They both didn't impress many people with their performances the other night.

I didn't see the performances this week. I usually catch them on U tube. I pretty much like everyone left so its going to be hard to see everyone go. Except Brooke. I find her too goody goody for me. Its going to be between the two Davids anyways in the end. I mean Jason Castro isn't very good vocally but he's kinda got a Jack Johnson type thing going on. He's charismatic and his eyes are beautiful. Its either Brooke or Syesha next week. Then again Kristy Lee Cook kept coming back week after week and she was terrible.

aaww.. what a spoiler. The elimination was supposed to be aired on today in my country. But seriously? Carly? When I first saw her I was sure she was going to win. And please... Brooke? She's nice, but... I don't think she can even sing that well. Syeshia's voive to me is a little bit like beyonce, but when she hits those high notes it tends to be a pitchy and forced. David Archuletta.. he sure can sing, only if he's in his element, which is slow-pop-ballad that can get a bit boring at times. Right now I'm definitely rooting for David Cook.

That was so messed up. Carly may have been a little better than Syesha, but Syesha was way better than Brook and Jason and David A. as far I as I am concerned, but I am not surprised that he was safe. I don't know what people are thinking really. The time to make sympathy and popularity votes is in the begining, not when they are close to the end. People need to start thinking about who is going to make good CD's, not who looks cute on the stage. When you are listening to someone sing on a CD in your car you are not seeing what they look like. The popularity contest has to end, we are not looing for the Prom King and Queen here, we are looking for a singer.

I was also surprised at the results...I wish Carly was safe...She sang really good...!
