After being a part of myLot for quite sometime, I've experienced my first embarrassing moment that I can remember. It was due to a confusion of terms, in a discussion, and turned out to be quite hilarious. A couple of my friends came to my rescue.
Have you had an embarrassing myLot moment?
If so, how did you handle it?
Did some of your friends bail you out?
Would you do the same for them?

Hi mummymo,
It's wonderful to see you here. I'm sure I'm not the only one that these things happen to, but this topic came to mind, after what happened in my recent discussion entitled 'Chick Flicks Anyone.' I'll send you a 'pink envelope alert,' so you can check it out. Pay particular attention to response numbers 1 and 4, and you'll get the idea.
Thanks so much for responding.

I know what you mean ... I couldn't stop laughing, and could barely do my responses because of this. When I took a look at 'my second paragraph' in the discussion starter, and applied 'the other meaning,' it was so embarrassing, while hilarious at the same time.

Thanks for getting back to me here. I was just wondering if you'd been still modelling prior to your pregnancy, and this clears it up for me.

Hi weemam,
I'm sure I've done something funny more than once too, but this one comes to mind, as it's a recent one. I'm not sure if you know what I mean, but if not, just ask Mo, as she knows all about it. Thanks for sharing.

Hi gabs,
I hope you're doing okay these days, and will be in touch with you ASAP.
If you'd like to checkout the discussion I'm referring to, just go to my profile page, and it's my 'chick flick' topic. Take a look at my first response, and then my fourth one, I believe it is. We ended up having a 'Good'ie laugh about this.

I think I have a couple of embarrassing incidents here in mylot. When I was new here, there's a desire or wanting to answer as many discussion as I can be to increase and have more earnings. I would pick discussions based only on the title (sometimes the question in the title are misleading) without reading it fully and understand what the discussion is all about. I been getting away with it until someone corrected me and gave me a mouthful of humiliating words. I was so embarrassed and feel very disgraced even though it happened only in the internet and not personally. Anyway I have learned my lesson (and first negative comment) and from then on I first read the whole discussion before making any responses.

I can see where this would be embarrassing, and a bit upsetting too, tholitz. When I first joined myLot, I really had no idea what I was doing, and how everything on the site worked. It does take time for sure. Thanks for sharing here. Take care.

Hi winterose,
I've had many embarrassing moments in my life, and a couple here that I know of. I don't think the changing star colour qualifies as this, but often, I just find it sad when it happens to people, because of those respondents who bring this about. It's nice when friends are willing to rescue us. Thanks for sharing.
