My daughter is 7 months she recently started crawling and shes everywhere and into everything. After chasing little soph around all day,it wears you out. My mother in law kept her last night and I needed this so very badly!Normally when I dont have her. I do something I enjoy catch up on mylot, sleep, go out But mostly its sleep. I also just enjoy the pure peace. So what about you what your favorite thing to do when the kiddos are away?

my angel - going to the mall
I use to go to the mall, take a walk. But i love the most with my baby coz i just have her few hours a day even she's just upstairs. As i wake up, i go to my small business. I am more in front of computer.I love being with my daughter and my mom is with her.I would say take a break to my work and have fun with my angel instead.

youre very lucky to have someone that you can trust who will give you that break every once in a while. my break came when my daughters started kindergarten.. and yes, i made a hobby of napping that first week! lol

Oh I bet. Every mom deserves a nap. Sophia will go down for a nap if I lay down with her. so somedays I get one. But yesterdaY was so rrough because the crawling thing is new for me. I'm still adjusting to it! I'm glad you are getting sometime to yourself!

My ex takes my son every other weekend, but my parents take him every now and again. Like tonight they are taking him out to dinner for getting good grades. Tonight I am just grateful to get a bit of peace and quiet LOL

I used to love to get a break when my daughter was little. My mom would always watch her for us. My husband and I would usually spend some quiet time together and sometimes go out or invite friends over. That was 16 years ago. I still like to have my quiet time when my daughter is gone to work or school. I usually spend time with my husband or work online and soemtimes take me a nap too.

Hi there. When we get the odd break from our children, we usually just stay home and watch movies. I usually sit there and watch the movie, but my minds thinking about how much I miss them and wondering what they're doing, if they ok, if they've eaten yet and warm. You could call me strange haha. But then I think all mothers have these thoughts at one time or another. Cheers, have a neat day...

My mother in law will take our 3 year old for a week once a month and I keep our youngest but I have only had one day where I didnt have the two of them and all I could do was just lounge even though I wanted to go to the bookstore and stay there all day or the library but I just felt like I should be absolutely nothing.
