I have been wanting to buy a GPS navagation unit for my car. They are very nice when you are traveling. My brother-in-law has one, it telles you every turn to make, if you make a wrong turn, it will recalculate for you. There are so many differant kinds on the market.Hard to know which is the best. I have been looking at the Garmin. Do you have one?Which one do you have?

I have one built into my car. I think that it is fantastic except when it tries to take me down roads that don't exist or insists on taking me the long way home when I already have know a short cut. The female voice of the GPs system and I often have arguments!!

I don't have a navigation system but I don't travel much so probaly would not get much use out of one. People who travel alot I am sure get a lot of use out of those things they don't have to stop and ask for directions anymore.

I do not travel as much as I would like, but when I do I tend to get turned around and it will come in handy for me.

Hmm... my mother has one. She too has a Garmin one. Uhm... I have no idea what model, but she included several factors when choosing one. Size, capabilities, and voice talk. There are several GPS system out there, and surpirsingly, several come without voice directions. So... if you want that keep that in mind. My mothers GPS also has the demensions about 2x that of an altoid box. It's quite small, she can bring it along inside her purse if she's walking. Doesn't even need a car... Last was the system capabilities. The battery can last up for 2 days straight. I have no idea if thats a long time but... seems like it. Good luck.
