Why does a round pizza come in a square box?

Maybe it's because (round) boxes are harder to make!

Pizzas have traditionally been round. Square boxes are easier and much cheaper to make.

You know i never thought of that but what a fun question..The sqaure box maybe easier to carry thena circular box..

i never gave it much thought before, but i think it has something to do with ease in packing it all up, because, well, round boxes are harder to make, probably. i don't know. but i don't really mind eating a round pizza from a square box.

hmm....makes it easier and some space at the four corners to lift up the pizza..i think....
