Have you gotten your Stimulus check yet?

I heard the other day on NPR that you can expect to get them as soon as next week.
My boyfriend I think is getting 1200 and I don't know what Im getting since I only worked three months (xmas holiday) and never heard if that was going to be factored in or not but I did file my taxes the beginning of April and my school said they also send paperwork to the IRS.
I was wondering if anyone had gotten their check early and are you spending it? I was a little taken by George Bush talking like this was gonna save us all from our debt because food prices are going up but I didn't hear any mention of monthly checks, that could give us a little hope.
Any mention of your location (US-east, west,midwest, etc) would help give an idea of who is getting theres and where.

i should be getting mine around june 12.. its on sugarsavvy.com u can check to see how long until it arrives, as long as you filed and made over 3k you should geta lil back. did you have direct deposit? those people are getting theirs first.
bush hopes that people go out and spend their checks, but according to most people, they are using them to pay down debt since we're in a recession... we'll see what happens when people actually have the check in their hand... i wont be shopping i know that much

I was really hoping all my checks would come in at the same time, I got my state tax check but not my federal yet, my school check just came in which was great, and now waiting for the stimulus check and like you said the more the better since usually its the big things you need most around the house (although Id like to convince my boyfriend that its not plasma tv's).
I want to save our money up because we were thinking about moving the end of our lease in November but i just found out my boyfriend owes his dad money (his dad is a painting contractor currently working in Texas) that he borrowed to buy my car so its not like im gonna complain still wasnt expecting it.

no They are going in aphabetical order from what I heard I start with a S so i'm thinking july?Mine is going towards a downpayment on a car that is good on gas

Also I think it depends on whether you had direct deposit or a check as a refund. Since yours was direct deposited it should be earlier.

It goes by the last two digits of the primary tax payers social security number. http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=180250,00.html
Payments are expected a week earlier than reported though.

No, I didnt know that is how they were going to do it, did you find this out on tv or online? I watch CNN and didnt hear any mention of how they were going to do it but just that we could expect checks really soon.

I heard that they were going out on Monday but I am wondering if that is just for the checks. I haven't' had a chance to check if the direct deposit is going out early as well. Originally direct deposit payments were to go out first.

When I filed my taxes I opted for check and was surprised when my state taxes came in less than two weeks but my federal didnt come yet but I doubt this has any correlation.

I think we will be getting our payment on Monday. I checked one of the charts online to determine when ours will be put out, and my husband and I should fall into the first group to get paid. I am not really sure how much we will end up getting, so I am sort of curious to see how much it will be. It would be nice to get the maximum, but I will just be happy to have the extra cash coming in no matter how much it turns out to be! :)

If you are getting it direct deposit you will receive you mony in your bank account next week they will put the first deposits in on Monday. Checks will start to be mailed out on May 9th a week earlier than expected are check was going to be mailed by June 20th but if it is a week early it will be mailed June 13th.
