My opinion about Cloverfield

My opinion about Cloverfield was that it was overall a documented type of film. If I had to cross two movies together to compare it, I would say it was half Blair Witch project and War of the Worlds. The camera was quite shakey and some people watching it might leave them with a headache or sick ill filling. It starts off at a going away party with close friends and some family and all the sudden the action begins. It's a long drawn out scene until it gets to the good parts. I can't see it being a part of reality but for some reason it seemed to have a message from the bible prophecy? Have you seen this movie? What were your views about Cloverfield?

I bet this movie was a treat to see on a big movie theater screen as I recall theaters posted warning signs about motion sickness issues. The camera is indeed shaky and all over the place, however it gives things a more intimate feel. Adding to the shaky camera is what is being captured: a sense action packed terror and some emotional, even romantic acting talent. The best way to sum up this movie is to compare it to a ride at Universal Studios; it would be the perfect attraction for their lot. I watched this movie a few nights ago. You are so right. It is like a cross between Blair Witch Project and War of the Worlds.
