Well being as I felt better and was out back I grabbed my camera to get some p[hotos of the progress of some aspects of my garden for future discussions. Both my apple trees are starting to get their leaves and starting to open up. It won't be long now till they are filled with their beautiful blooms for the bees and butterflies that will be here soon. This is from my HoneyCrisp tree which gave me well over 100 apples last year in just it's 2nd year. Do you have any blooms of apple trees yet near you? Do you have anything planted to attract butterflies or bees for pollination purposes? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi GRANDPA BOB! I sure want to see an apple tree for I have never seen one! That must be very beautiful when there are a lot of apple fruits hanging on the tree. We do have flowers that are being visited frequently by colorful butterflies and they are so beautiful to see. Just my thoughts dear friend. Take care and have a nice day!

You will need over three hundred apples a year to be able to keep the doctor away so the supermarket bulk buy will have to stock up with the remainder. Have a good bite from Deeeky.

Oh thank you for reminding me, my Zoe, (She has only been living here since Jan), will keep them away from this tree, not the other one, but this one, so maybe I will get some apples this year..

I have not looked in the last few days to be honest. We had a ton of nice big pink blossoms on our apple tree last time I looked. I am not even sure what kind of apples they are. I know they are red.

I have never seen a home yet that had an apple tree, the best I saw was a weeping willow true, we had in our back yard when I first got married.

We don't have any fruit trees here, but my husband did send off the $10 for the 10 trees through the Arbor Day Foundation. In the bunch were two each crabapple and dogwood, and I don't remember what the rest were. We got out several large flower pots and planted them several days ago. All of them are small, not even saplings, but they're all doing well and even budding already. I hope we'll be into our own place before the year is out and we can plant them on our own property. They should do fine in these big pots for a year or two.
