Writing exercise: Describe yourself and your interests

How would you describe yourself if someone told you that you needed to write something about yourself and your interests? When I was a child, I wrote, "I am a poet, a singer, a somewhat somehow artist, a lover of life and of people." Today, I would write: I am a licensed marriage and family therapist who likes to write, to sing, to make cartoons and to do art projects. I am still a lover of life and of people. Now, it's your turn... Describe yourself and your interests.

So you wanted to speed fast but couldn't and now you remain in the present moment living each day as if it were your last... That is great!

hhhmmm well as a child i would have wrote something like this. I am tall, skinny, ugly and sad. I love to write, draw, sing and dance but nobody cares. I am lonely and nobody loves me. I miss my daddy. That was long ago though....NOW its more like this.. I'm a retired married mom of 3. I am very unconventional, unique and full of love, laughter and light. I am an artist and enjoy expressing myself by way of dance, painting, drawing and writing. I am a seamstress (though not great LOL). I am a survivor of much trauma throughout my life BUT I AM STRONG...more than anything I AM ME..dont like it? just walk away LOL

I feel like hugging the younger you and telling her she was okay just as she was and loved and needed here. And I feel like now offering you congratulations and positive regard... I love seeing success stories unfold... You have survived and you are content within your own skin. That is a very good thing. And no one else could give it to you. You earned it from having gone through all that you went through.
