Should there be more clothes for overweight people?

I personally don't have any problem with slightly or moderately overweight folks but I find it a bit scary when it gets to the point when they can't breathe or the whole sofa is required to seat just one.
A lot of people that I know are against stores that sell fashionable clothes for extra plus sizes,I've heard them say that it's only encouraging big folks not to care about their bodies.
On one hand,I don't mind these stores, sometimes weight problems are related to a disease or physical disability and people like that deserve more and they sure want to look good just as anybody does.
On the other hand,I think certain Americans should be more proactive when it comes to fitness and exercise. It's not just appearance,it's also health and good mood.
What do you think???

I think what they need a bigger sized clothings but I've nothing against being over weight except maybe it's not healthy anymore. there are some that are maxed over their weight limit but they're buffed and cut and eats right that's what i think

I don't mind slightly overweight people, not everybody was made to be skinny. But I think if you have a little belly or love handles,it's ok as long as you don't allow them to become bigger than your entire body

There should be more clothes for them. I completely agree. I have many friends who hardly find clothes and other things to wear because their sizes are not available in the market. These days, many people have become overweight so there should be many stores that offer clothes with their sizes to ease them in looking for things to wear. Kudos.

My sister has trouble finding clothes that fit her back where I'm from and you could say she's not too big by American standards-maybe about 170. Thanks!
